Information about this symbolic adoption and how it helps saves sharks

Your symbolic adoption will help us preserve a variety of species and their habitats. Saving the Blue works within the USA and The Bahamas to protect and restore shark and ray populations.

This adoption does not support a particular animal, however it does support our species-specific research projects on coastal and open ocean species, such as silky sharks, hammerhead sharks and smalltooth sawfish. All species have experienced population declines in recent decades and there is an urgent need for information on their general biology, movement ecology as well as population structure. All adoptions and donations contribute towards making our oceans healthier for generations to come.

What you will receive

A thank you email, along with your adoption certificate which will be sent as a PDF to your email address allowing you to print at home, if you desire.
